Greetings from the MS in Applied Data Science program! We are excited to introduce the following opportunity that will enable you, our current students, to play an active role in taking our program to the next level:
Student Ambassador Program
Purpose
The MS-ADS Student Ambassador Program will give students the opportunity to expand their professional networks, build on their power skills, and gain leadership experience while representing the MS-ADS Program.
Overview
Throughout the course of the academic year, current students affiliated with the Student Ambassador program will be sent requests for participation at various program sponsored events (e.g., recruitment, marketing, etc.). Volunteer as your time permits. However, you will be expected to contribute to at least two program sponsored events while a member of the Student Ambassadors Program.
Engagement Opportunities
Your role as a member of the Student Ambassador Program will involve your participation in the following activities and initiatives.

Recruitment Events: Information sessions, Ask a Student Series, Data Science Seminar Series, Student Panels, Tours/Campus Visits
- Marketing Efforts: Create original MS-ADS content to share on social media, Re-post upcoming MS-ADS/DSI events, Collaborate with MS-ADS Marketing
- Student Affairs: Assist the Student Affairs Team in planning and hosting events, Current Student Panels

How You Can Get Involved
If you are interested in being considered, please complete the MS-ADS Student Ambassadors Application. Applications for the Student Ambassador Program for the Autumn Quarter will be accepted until October 22, 2025. Applicants should expect to hear back by October 31, 2025.
